no OSHO for me :p

Now this Osho man here, he’s GOTTA be kidding me! This is the second quote by this guy which seriously makes me wonder… Seems like a very troubled soul! Never gonna get how gazillions of people can indulge into this kind of philosophy. So here’s what he said that reminded me how his other quote had ticked me off.

Osho- Being alone

And actually, on the contrary, the capacity to be alone and one enjoying his company all alone, all by himself… Wouldn’t that completely reflect a selfish trait? Which can’t be a positive thing, or can it? Unless one is running away in the other direction if he sees the opposite one leading towards Dajjal, well I’m sure that kind of selfishness would be globally acceptable amongst the Muslims at least 🙂 And logically, the other part would be incorrect. As per this Osho dude, “only those people who are capable of being alone are capable of love, of sharing, of going into the deepest core of another person”; If people are by themselves and *tick tick* ALONE, they would surely want and desire to be loved, well probably. And how would being alone increase one’s capacity of the ability to share? It can certainly make one stupid, and in their last days, sadly, leave them wondering how beautiful life could have been had they been a part of someone else’s life and involved others in their own; ’cause the truth in fact is that “Sharing is Caring”. If one is alone, he probably would develop a habit of the kind of privacy for his possessions that would annoy him if he is ever expected to share. So, excuse me but *ehem ehem* I gotta lmao. And OH MY DEAR GOD! How can one, who is capable of being alone go deeper into the soul of another? Sorry Osho man! That did not really sink in. And this thing where he associates love with possession is a completely different subject…

love- Osho

Love is not about possession. Those who love, value people, and not things. Things can be possessed. Not love. An infant is dependent on the 2 people who love him the most, and with time as the child grows, the parents are dependent on their offspring’s love and support. That dependency, has other names. It comprises of not just love and support, but also infinite respect, trust, a bond like no other, compassion and several other emotions that build the essence of the relationship in its entirety. A child and his parents is just one example… there are several more. The dependency such relations have on one another is far from material possessions and their importance.

Going forward, to me, love being an addiction seems more like a Psychotic disorder which reminds of me some creatures who were obsessed with the idea that every person they met were either totally into them or had a problem with them, so yeah, they were basically too full of themselves. Sorry for sounding mean, but that’s the truth. The latter part of this quote is utterly disturbing for me to elaborate upon, so I shall instead go now and happily indulge into a much sane, n absolutely fictitious adaptation of a Mughal romantic novel by Indu Sundaresan.,

By the way, I have nothing against Osho. Some of his reads are actually quite interesting and thought provoking. This is solely my personal opinion upon a couple of quotes by him. Adieu 🙂

The heart is a fragile thing. Yasmin mogahed.

It is indeed. May Allah fill human hearts with compassion. May He guide us all to understand the difference between the basics of right n wrong. May He give us the sense to understand the gravity of issues asssociated with severing blood n other close relations, and especially aqal to think a thousand times before speaking bad bout *anyone*. May He give us aqal to think a gazillion times before hurting other hearts.. May Allah soften our hearts n keep us safe n away from all evil that has the slightest power to harden it. In shaa’Allah ta’alaah n ameen. Salamoalikum wa rehmatullah.

Suits- Season 2, Episode 3; “Meet the New Boss”

Last Scene; this is one of my favorite scenes between Mike and his adorable grandma.

Mike's Grandma

*knock knock*
Mike enters his grandma’s room at the old age home.
Grandma: *surprised* 3 times in 1 week! I might have to write you back into my will!
Michael smiles, gets rid of his bag and stands in front of her with a serious expression on his face.
“What’s wrong?” she asks her grandson.
He eyes the medical cupboard beside her bed and grabs a bottle. Sits on the side of the bed, cleares his throat, “Plavix” he says holding the bottle of pills. Grandma nods. “Stuck in my head so I looked it up,” Mike continued, “something that you take when you have a heart problem?” Looks Grandma in the eye and she calms him down saying, “Michael, I am 82 years old, I have an everything problem!” “Why didn’t you tell me?” he complained silently. Grandma laughs lightly, “That getting old sucks? You’ll find out, and I don’t tell you every little thing because I don’t want you to worry”; she continues, “And if you’d have looked it up you’d know that it is for preventive purposes. Did you read that part?” she chided lovingly. Michael smiled, “Naah I kinda panicked when I got to the heart problem part.”
Grandma dramatically sighs and shakes her head, “I hope you do a more thorough job at work!”
“Okay I make a trip down here to express some serious concern, and you mock me?” looks at Grandma with a sad eyes as she laughs adorably. “With love,” she smiles.
Mike lightens up and says, “okay, enough of your stupid health problems, let’s get down to business deals, some of my real ones.” Grandma shakes her head, “you’re young, you don’t have any real problems.” “Wrong,” says Mike as he makes a face and explains, “I make way too much money and I don’t have a girlfriend to spend it on.” Grandma, with all of her grandmotherly wisdom immediately sets on a mission and tells her Grandson, “I know a few single ladies,” “Really?” asks a surprised Mike, “I can’t go older than 70,” he explains seriously, “It’s a ground rule.”

Scene ends!

He deprives to give

There’s an amazing thing about broken hearts. When you don’t get what you want, you discover a need. When you discover a need, you begin to ask. When a request is unfulfilled, you keep asking. Sometimes He doesn’t give you what you ask for when He wants to give you something more. Sometimes He doesn’t give us right away because He knows there’s something better. Or so we can keep asking. Because it is in the process of begging that we are elevated and brought nearer. It is in the process of asking that we are brought to the foot of His thrown. It is your need and helplessness that drove you to His throne. He deprives to give.

Forgive & Forget

I read this on a page on facebook that I follow; thought I’d share it here..425749_10151415404352652_799557698_nWe have been taught “to forgive, but never forget”, right?

Most of us lie when we say that we have forgiven the people for their mistakes and wrongdoings but then we continue to remind them of their mistake sometimes. Maybe in anger or maybe just to tease or make them feel hurt.

Is this a forgiveness we want for ourselves as well?

When we raise our hands in humility towards heavens and we beg for forgiveness, what do we ask for? What kind of forgiveness do we ask for?

We want a clean chit from Allah that we have been forgiven COMPLETELY. We want another chance. We want our huge and endless list of crimes to be erased. We want Allah to accept our repentance and allow us to start again. We don’t want to be reminded of it, or have it come back to haunt or to taunt us. We want our sins to be forgiven here and veiled on the day of Judgement!!

Subhan’Allah, the mercy of our Lord, the Most Merciful is so much unique that Allah Subhanahu Wa Taa’la after forgiving a repenting believer never reminds him of his wrong deeds, neither in this world nor in the hereafter!

Hence, If we want to be forgiven completely, we must learn to forgive others completely.

May Allah help us not to bear any grudges towards anyone, to treat one another properly and to forgive another completely.

Aameen!

Each one of us has the right to make a choice..

Although at times one is required to make compromises, for that special someone, for family, a child, for friends, and just some random people you come across in life out of the goodness of the heart.. and at times, these very people, although I’m sure they don’t intend to, begin taking things for granted.. anyway. Coming back to choices.. I’ve always believed that it’s all.. and everything that happens to us is somehow linked with the choices we make in life.

Often, when choosing a path that may have extreme obstacles, we do so with the thought that our choice will lead to a decision that would not harm us much and at the same time its impact would gain another person more benefit. That’s that angel in us just being selfless :p , knowingly exposing a vulnerable part of ourselves in front of others to simply have fun with.. exploit it at a certain level..

What actually leaves me bamboozled with a deeper intensity is when at times we make a decision that is wholly and solely for our own good, need or simply fulfills our desire, people, some of them who are in fact our very own and close to heart will not take a second to think or hesitate before labeling us.. as a self obsessed brat, slash, the most typically selfish being alive on the planet!

*Bhayee afsos houtah hai.. dil dukhta hai..*
is all I’d like to let em know..

Well, no offense intended to my dear(ies)! I love you! This isn’t to hurt u or make you feel bad if by any chance you read this. Just that today, I choose to be free of worries for no1 else but myself.

Today, I choose to be happy for no1 else but myself.
