I love you kiri ❤
Jundub ibn Abdullah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
There was a man among those before you who had a wound. He was in such anguish that he took a knife and he slit his hand with it and the blood did not cease to flow until he died. Allah the Almighty said: My servant has taken the initiative over me by himself, so I have forbidden Paradise for him.

Now this Osho man here, he’s GOTTA be kidding me! This is the second quote by this guy which seriously makes me wonder… Seems like a very troubled soul! Never gonna get how gazillions of people can indulge into this kind of philosophy. So here’s what he said that reminded me how his other quote had ticked me off.
And actually, on the contrary, the capacity to be alone and one enjoying his company all alone, all by himself… Wouldn’t that completely reflect a selfish trait? Which can’t be a positive thing, or can it? Unless one is running away in the other direction if he sees the opposite one leading towards Dajjal, well I’m sure that kind of selfishness would be globally acceptable amongst the Muslims at least 🙂 And logically, the other part would be incorrect. As per this Osho dude, “only those people who are capable of being alone are capable of love, of sharing, of going into the deepest core of another person”; If people are by themselves and *tick tick* ALONE, they would surely want and desire to be loved, well probably. And how would being alone increase one’s capacity of the ability to share? It can certainly make one stupid, and in their last days, sadly, leave them wondering how beautiful life could have been had they been a part of someone else’s life and involved others in their own; ’cause the truth in fact is that “Sharing is Caring”. If one is alone, he probably would develop a habit of the kind of privacy for his possessions that would annoy him if he is ever expected to share. So, excuse me but *ehem ehem* I gotta lmao. And OH MY DEAR GOD! How can one, who is capable of being alone go deeper into the soul of another? Sorry Osho man! That did not really sink in. And this thing where he associates love with possession is a completely different subject…
Love is not about possession. Those who love, value people, and not things. Things can be possessed. Not love. An infant is dependent on the 2 people who love him the most, and with time as the child grows, the parents are dependent on their offspring’s love and support. That dependency, has other names. It comprises of not just love and support, but also infinite respect, trust, a bond like no other, compassion and several other emotions that build the essence of the relationship in its entirety. A child and his parents is just one example… there are several more. The dependency such relations have on one another is far from material possessions and their importance.
Going forward, to me, love being an addiction seems more like a Psychotic disorder which reminds of me some creatures who were obsessed with the idea that every person they met were either totally into them or had a problem with them, so yeah, they were basically too full of themselves. Sorry for sounding mean, but that’s the truth. The latter part of this quote is utterly disturbing for me to elaborate upon, so I shall instead go now and happily indulge into a much sane, n absolutely fictitious adaptation of a Mughal romantic novel by Indu Sundaresan.,
By the way, I have nothing against Osho. Some of his reads are actually quite interesting and thought provoking. This is solely my personal opinion upon a couple of quotes by him. Adieu 🙂
It is indeed. May Allah fill human hearts with compassion. May He guide us all to understand the difference between the basics of right n wrong. May He give us the sense to understand the gravity of issues asssociated with severing blood n other close relations, and especially aqal to think a thousand times before speaking bad bout *anyone*. May He give us aqal to think a gazillion times before hurting other hearts.. May Allah soften our hearts n keep us safe n away from all evil that has the slightest power to harden it. In shaa’Allah ta’alaah n ameen. Salamoalikum wa rehmatullah.
When Shaytan reminds you of your past,
remind him of his future!
Sometimes the more one grows in religious practice, the more they grow in self righteousness and judgement. This is a sign of a problem inside. It is a sign, that internal cleansing is necessary. Growing in religion should only make us grow in compassion, not in judgement. The heart filled with God is softened, not hardened. If it is becoming hardened towards people, perhaps it is not God filling the heart, but rather the self, decorated by the false cloak of piety and religious devotion.
Words of Wisdom by Yasmin Mogahed
I absolutely loved this nasheed shared by one of my friends. Thank you.. you know who you are.. n u know, I needed this.. Thanks.. 🙂
Shine your mercy like the sun,
And be gracious as the earth
Let your kindness come like rain that cares not whom it falls upon
And let ocean deep your wisdom be,
Your heart and lanterns spreading peace
Give yourself in love of him,
Be like al-habib
And in your deepest needs and in your deepest grieve,
Call on him in humility
Place your trust in the one,
To whom creation turns
You’ll find redemption and find peace
[In shaa Allah :)]
Fabrication or modification of any sort in the religion of Islam is a bidaah and is therefore prohibited. Allah subhanahu wa Ta’Alaah in Surah Al’ An’am’s ayah # 93 has said,
“And who can be more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allah, or says: “A revelation has come to me” whereas no Revelation has come to him in anything; and who says, “I will reveal the like of what Allah has revealed.” And if you could but see when the Zalimun (polytheists & wrongdoers) are in the agonies of death, while the angels are stretching forth their hands (saying): “Deliver your souls! This day you shall be recompensed with the torment of regradation because of what you used to utter against Allah other than the truth. And you used to reject His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) with disrespect!”
May Allah keep us all in His hifzoamaan, and may He guide us towards Siraatal- Mustaqeem, the Straight Path.

The following report on the merits of fasting is being circulated via emails and text messages, with some even quoting it from the pulpit! The narration is baseless and has no authentic chain. The report should NOT be forwarded on to others unless you are pointing out its fabrication.
“Once Mūsā (peace be upon him) asked Allah: O Allah ! You have granted me the honor and privilege of talking to you directly, Have you given this privilege to any other person? Allah replied, O! Mūsā during the last period I am going to send a nation, who will be the nation of Muḥammad (peace be upon him) with dry lips, parched tongues, emaciated body with eyes sunken deep into their sockets, with livers dry and stomachs suffering the pangs of hunger- will call out to me (in supplication) they will be much closer to me than you O Mūsā! While you speak to me there are 70000 veils between you and me, but at the time of ifṭār (fast breaking) there will not be a single veil between me and the fasting person from the nation of Muḥammad (peace be upon him) O! Mūsā I have taken upon myself the responsibility that at the time of ifṭār I will never refuse the supplication of a fasting person!”

Suits- Season 2, Episode 3; “Meet the New Boss”
Last Scene; this is one of my favorite scenes between Mike and his adorable grandma.
Mike enters his grandma’s room at the old age home.
Grandma: *surprised* 3 times in 1 week! I might have to write you back into my will!
Michael smiles, gets rid of his bag and stands in front of her with a serious expression on his face.
“What’s wrong?” she asks her grandson.
He eyes the medical cupboard beside her bed and grabs a bottle. Sits on the side of the bed, cleares his throat, “Plavix” he says holding the bottle of pills. Grandma nods. “Stuck in my head so I looked it up,” Mike continued, “something that you take when you have a heart problem?” Looks Grandma in the eye and she calms him down saying, “Michael, I am 82 years old, I have an everything problem!” “Why didn’t you tell me?” he complained silently. Grandma laughs lightly, “That getting old sucks? You’ll find out, and I don’t tell you every little thing because I don’t want you to worry”; she continues, “And if you’d have looked it up you’d know that it is for preventive purposes. Did you read that part?” she chided lovingly. Michael smiled, “Naah I kinda panicked when I got to the heart problem part.”
Grandma dramatically sighs and shakes her head, “I hope you do a more thorough job at work!”
“Okay I make a trip down here to express some serious concern, and you mock me?” looks at Grandma with a sad eyes as she laughs adorably. “With love,” she smiles.
Mike lightens up and says, “okay, enough of your stupid health problems, let’s get down to business deals, some of my real ones.” Grandma shakes her head, “you’re young, you don’t have any real problems.” “Wrong,” says Mike as he makes a face and explains, “I make way too much money and I don’t have a girlfriend to spend it on.” Grandma, with all of her grandmotherly wisdom immediately sets on a mission and tells her Grandson, “I know a few single ladies,” “Really?” asks a surprised Mike, “I can’t go older than 70,” he explains seriously, “It’s a ground rule.”
