Hadees e Qudsi; Condemnation of suicide

Jundub ibn Abdullah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

كَانَ فِيمَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ رَجُلٌ بِهِ جُرْحٌ فَجَزِعَ فَأَخَذَ سِكِّينًا فَحَزَّ بِهَا يَدَهُ فَمَا رَقَأَ الدَّمُ حَتَّى مَاتَ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى بَادَرَنِي عَبْدِي بِنَفْسِهِ حَرَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ

There was a man among those before you who had a wound. He was in such anguish that he took a knife and he slit his hand with it and the blood did not cease to flow until he died. Allah the Almighty said: My servant has taken the initiative over me by himself, so I have forbidden Paradise for him.

Cleanse your heart.. Grow in religion.. n love, for the sake of Allah

Sometimes the more one grows in religious practice, the more they grow in self righteousness and judgement. This is a sign of a problem inside. It is a sign, that internal cleansing is necessary. Growing in religion should only make us grow in compassion, not in judgement. The heart filled with God is softened, not hardened. If it is becoming hardened towards people, perhaps it is not God filling the heart, but rather the self, decorated by the false cloak of piety and religious devotion.

Pakistan the secular state, created with the notion of housing Muslims of South Asia was never an Islamic state in view of various ethnic combinations the new state had to offer. It never has been that for good part of 40 years.  Muslims claiming to be the dire owners and rulers of South Asia for good part of 8 centuries worked themselves into a gradual decline, claiming royalties, having armies for hires, using Rajputs, draining the treasury to build palaces not roads or schools, and did little for the education or for the elevation of masses.
