Beware!

Fabrication or modification of any sort in the religion of Islam is a bidaah and is therefore prohibited. Allah subhanahu wa Ta’Alaah in Surah Al’ An’am’s ayah # 93 has said,

which means:
“And who can be more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allah, or says: “A revelation has come to me” whereas no Revelation has come to him in anything; and who says, “I will reveal the like of what Allah has revealed.” And if you could but see when the Zalimun (polytheists & wrongdoers) are in the agonies of death, while the angels are stretching forth their hands (saying): “Deliver your souls! This day you shall be recompensed with the torment of regradation because of what you used to utter against Allah other than the truth. And you used to reject His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) with disrespect!”

May Allah keep us all in His hifzoamaan, and may He guide us towards Siraatal- Mustaqeem, the Straight Path.

Ramaḍān Fables

The following report on the merits of fasting is being circulated via emails and text messages, with some even quoting it from the pulpit! The narration is baseless and has no authentic chain. The report should NOT be forwarded on to others unless you are pointing out its fabrication.

“Once Mūsā (peace be upon him) asked Allah: O Allah ! You have granted me the honor and privilege of talking to you directly, Have you given this privilege to any other person? Allah replied, O! Mūsā during the last period I am going to send a nation, who will be the nation of Muḥammad (peace be upon him) with dry lips, parched tongues, emaciated body with eyes sunken deep into their sockets, with livers dry and stomachs suffering the pangs of hunger- will call out to me (in supplication) they will be much closer to me than you O Mūsā! While you speak to me there are 70000 veils between you and me, but at the time of ifṭār (fast breaking) there will not be a single veil between me and the fasting person from the nation of Muḥammad (peace be upon him) O! Mūsā I have taken upon myself the responsibility that at the time of ifṭār I will never refuse the supplication of a fasting person!”
